Time to Listen

Election day has come and gone in the United States, and there are so many people expressing themselves honestly and passionately — as they should.  However, there has also been a lot of “talking over each other,” to the point where people often couldn’t see the pain that was being expressed.

So light of that, I’ve decided to listen first.  I heard all the cries of my friends and colleagues on a variety of issues this week.  I felt their pain.  And I will continue to listen for a while longer, before I say or write anything more about this.
